The Iconic Rockefeller Center Tree all dressed up for the Holidays, The amazing Rockettes, a pastry, and coffee at Buchon’s or the New Blue Box Cafe at Tiffany’s…just a few of my favorite things to do in New York during the Holiday Season. My go- to shopping in NYC this time was down to Soho at this great boutique my daughter, Carly, suggested called Aritzia. A Canadian women’s fashion brand founded in Vancouver in 1984. I just love their sweaters…and the price is right with all the Black-Friday and Holiday specials. My next stop is lunch at the famous Katz’s Deli lower eastside you must get the pastrami sandwich. For that special holiday atmosphere head over to Un Deux Trois…a little bit of Paris in New York just pop over to the bar area and ring in the New Year with a glass of Champagne. If Bloody Mary’s are your thing then I highly recommend the famous Tavern on the Green for a liquid lunch by the fireplace….My hotel of choice is the Kimpton Muse located right off the parade route at 130 West 46th Street…great boutique hotel with great prices, complimentary coffee in the am and wine in the evening. For some culture while in the Big Apple head over to the Whitney Museum in the Meat Packing District. A contemporary display of American Art and the artist at the very center of its mission. I also love the rooftop cafe where you can take a break and grab your cappuccino and take in the View of lower Manhattan and Lady Liberty. So Mezza followers Tis the Season for New York!!!!!
